April 20, 2015—Danish Elementary School kindergarten studentEmily Orquera is an avid reader who uses the Raz-Kids website to explore new books. A huge fan of Frozen and the hit song “Let It Go,” Orquera hopes to take her ballet skills to a professional level one day. She draws inspiration from her biggest influencers—her parents.

Favorite TV show: Maya & Miguel. “I like to learn about Mexican culture.”


Favorite movie: Frozen. “I love the magic and the sister feeling.”


Ambition: “I want to be an ice skater or a ballerina.”

What inspires you? My parents.


What three things can’t you live without? My parents, my brother and playing.


What are you most looking forward to this semester? Getting good grades.
